Confidence to Stand Firm

IWM Devotional: Confidence to Stand Firm

Scripture: Philippians 1:6 (NKJV) “He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.”

Word for Today

Confidence in Christ enables us to remain steadfast, especially in seasons of waiting and process. God’s work in our lives is intentional and progressive. Though growth may feel slow, His purposes are never delayed.

Standing firm requires trusting God’s faithfulness beyond what is visible. Our confidence rests in the assurance that God completes what He starts. “The Lord will perfect that which concerns me” (Psalm 138:8). This confidence keeps us anchored when circumstances shift and emotions fluctuate.

Faithfulness is not about rushing the process but remaining confident in the One who oversees it.
