Salvation 4: Faith That Reaches Others

IWM Devotional: Salvation 4: Faith That Reaches Others

Scripture: “And the one who reaps receives wages and gathers fruit for eternal life, so that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together.” — John 4:36

Word for Today

Continuing from yesterday’s devotional, today we go deeper into how our faith is expressed through our daily lives.

For those who are already sharing the gospel faithfully and for those who feel stirred to begin. Scripture reminds us that both the sower and the reaper have a reward. Some plant the seed, some water it, and some witness the harvest. Every role matters in the Kingdom of God.

Extending the gospel is not only about words spoken publicly. It is also about forgiveness practiced privately. It is choosing to forgive when it is hard. Praying for the person who hurt you. Interceding for the one who misunderstands you. Offering godly counsel instead of harsh judgment. Allowing patience, humility, and love to shape your response.

Jesus never cast people away. He welcomed them, corrected them in love, and trusted the Father to do the deeper work in their hearts. As His followers, we are called to do the same. No one is beyond repair. No one is too far gone. God’s mercy reaches further than we can see.

What I have come to experience is this, the way you act truly does have the power to reach and even change people. Trust me on this. Your character speaks when words fall short. Your consistency reflects Christ when explanations fail. People are watching how you respond, how you forgive, how you love, and how you remain grounded in grace.

Sisters, keep shining. Because your obedience is changing lives. You are the light God is using to reach His daughters this season, just as He has revealed.

Prayer

Father God, thank You for trusting me to reflect Your heart in this world. Teach me to extend Your forgiveness freely, to pray for those around me, and to offer godly counsel with wisdom and love. Shape my character so that my life speaks louder than my words. Give me more grace to walk in patience, humility, and compassion. Use me as You desire, and let You alone draw hearts to Yourself. In Jesus’ name, amen
