Word for Today
Yes, we are all very familiar with the key scripture. But today, let’s talk heart to heart. I hope we’re aware that Children don’t just grow. They are raised And how they are raised will show in how they live. But it starts with you. Yes, you as a woman, whether you are a mother, an aunt, a sister, or someone children look up to, you carry influence. Because Children are always watching.
They watch how you talk. They watch how you react. They watch how you live your life. And before you know it, they start becoming what they see. That is why training them is not just by words, it is by example.
And let’s settle this here today, do not Leave It for “When They Grow”. Because that’s One mistake many people make. They say, “When the child grows, they will understand God or understand better”(Proverbs 13:24). No. By the time they grow, many things have already entered their mind.
The Training starts early. Teach them how to pray, teach them to respect God, teach them right from wrong. Even if they don’t fully understand now, it is entering their heart. And believe me, one day, it will speak for them. Truth be told. If you don’t train your children, the world will. The Social media is teaching. Friends are teaching. TV is teaching. And not everything they are learning out there is good.
So if you stay silent, you are not protecting them, you are leaving them open. And I also want us to get this, when we talk about Godly Training, it Is Not Just Church. Taking children to church is good. But that alone is not enough.
According to our key scripture, training them in the way of the Lord is, letting them see you pray at home, letting them hear you speak with respect, and letting them see you live right (Deu 6:6-7). Because if you shout “God” outside and live differently inside, children will notice. And confusion begins to grow.
Let Discipline be Part of your Love for them. Many people avoid correcting children because they don’t want to look “wicked.” But correction is part of training. If a child is going the wrong way and nobody corrects them, that is not love, that is neglect. Teach them, Respect. Honesty. Kindness. Responsibility. Not just with talking, but with guidance and discipline.
Sadly, there are many adults today struggling, not because they are bad, but because they were never properly guided. Nobody taught them about God. Nobody corrected them early. Nobody showed them the right way.
Now they are trying to fix in adulthood what should have been built in childhood. You have the chance to do better woman. Never think what you are doing is small. Because the prayers you teach them today, the values you show them today, and the corrections you make today. They are seeds. And one day, those seeds will surely grow. Even if the child strays at some point, what you planted will still speak, trust me.
So, dear woman, you know I love you and care about you. Smile, True. So please train them with patience. Yes, It will not always be easy. Children will make mistakes, they will sometimes not listen, you may even feel tired. But don’t give up woman.
Training is not a one-day job, it is a process. Keep the teaching going, the correcting going, and keep showing them the way.
In conclusion, Woman, don’t take this lightly. Raising a child in the way of the Lord is one of the greatest responsibilities you have. Because you are not just raising a child, You are shaping a future.
So, Start now. Be intentional and consistent. Because one day, the world will meet the child you raised. And what they carry will reflect what you taught them.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for this beautiful responsibility You have given me. Thank You for the gift of these children. Lord, please help me. Give me the wisdom to guide them right, and the patience I need to train them well. Strengthen me when I feel tired. Teach me what to do when I feel confused. Help me to be a good example for them at all times.
Father, I pray for my children, that they will know You for themselves. Open their hearts to receive every teaching, every correction, and every truth. Let Your hand be upon their lives, and help them grow in Your ways. In Jesus name, Amen.
And today, I pray for every parent reading, listening, or watching this. May the Lord God Almighty guide you. May He strengthen you when it is not easy. May He support you in every step of raising your children. I pray You will not fail in your assignment. Your efforts will not be wasted. And your children will rise, strong, grounded, and godly.
You will raise children who know God, who stand for truth, and who shine as light in this world. Amen.
Blessings.

Lord help me and every parents. Amen
