Word for Today

As women, we carry so much strength within us. But there are still moments when life makes us pause and say, “Wow… this is getting tough.” Today, I want us to slow down for a moment and talk heart-to-heart.

Let me speak to you for a moment, woman to woman. Some days you wake up already tired. Not just physically, but emotionally. Mentally. Spiritually. You’re carrying a lot. Responsibilities. Expectations. Maybe worries that nobody else even knows about. And sometimes you wonder quietly, “God, do I have what it takes to keep going?”

That’s exactly why today's verse is so comforting. When Paul the Apostle was struggling, he asked God to remove what was hurting him. Instead of removing it immediately, God gave him something better, a promise, “My grace is enough for you.” In other words, God was saying, “You may feel weak right now, but you are not alone. My strength will carry you.” Grace is God stepping in when you’ve reached the end of yourself.

It’s the strength you feel when you thought you couldn’t go another step, but somehow you do. It’s the kind of peace that shows up in the middle of chaos, and the quiet reminder in your heart that says, “I’ve got you.” And sincerely, we can't do on our own, especially as women.

Beloved sisters,  God isn’t asking you to be perfect or strong all the time. He simply wants you to lean on Him. But know this, that your weakness doesn’t disqualify you. In fact, it’s often the very place where God shows His power the most.

So today, if you feel overwhelmed, or if you feel like you’re barely holding things together, please hear God saying this directly to you, “My grace is enough for you today.” Today, next year, and for the rest of your life. And today, that is more than enough.

May God continue to strengthen His precious daughter watching or listening right now. I sincerely believe in you. Keep going, sister, God is with you

Prayer

Lord, You see everything I’m carrying today. Thank You that I don’t have to handle it all by myself. Help me rest in Your grace and trust that Your strength will carry me through whatever this day holds.
Amen.
