Word for Today
Hello, beautiful sisters in Christ. Today, I want to celebrate every woman in IWM and women all over the world. Happy Women’s Day.
Today, I want to speak directly to you about something very close to God’s heart, your dignity. You see, there are moments in life when we feel overlooked, undervalued, or even forgotten. Maybe someone dismissed your efforts, your voice, or your dreams. Maybe the world told you that your worth is tied to what you do, how you look, or what you can offer. But I want you to hear this clearly today, God sees you.
And He sees your value not because of what you do, but because of who you are, His creation, His masterpiece, and His beloved daughter. The Bible says, “She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come” (Proverbs 31:25). This is not just a description, it is a declaration over every woman who belongs to God.
You are not here by accident. Scripture reminds us that we are God’s masterpiece (Ephesians 2:10), created with intention and purpose. Crafted with care, designed with meaning, and equipped with strength for every season.
Being God’s masterpiece means your life carries meaning beyond the ordinary. Your courage, your faith, your compassion, and your resilience are expressions of God’s handiwork in you. Even when challenges arise, and even when the future feels uncertain, you can stand with confidence and laugh at the days to come, not in arrogance, but in deep trust that the Creator who made you knew exactly what He was doing.
Look at the life of Jesus Christ. In a culture where women were often overlooked or judged, Jesus did something remarkable, He honored them. He spoke to them with respect. He healed them. He restored them. And He gave them dignity that the world had tried to take away.
He listened to their stories, valued their faith, and welcomed them into His ministry. Think of the woman at the well. Think of Mary Magdalene. Think of the woman who anointed Jesus with perfume.
In every one of these stories, Jesus saw beyond society’s labels and limitations. Where others saw shame, He spoke life, honor, and restoration. And I want you to know this today, that same God restores dignity to you.
Whatever the world may have tried to take from you, your confidence, your joy, your voice, God is able to restore it. He heals what has been wounded, renews your spirit, and reminds you of the worth He placed in you from the very beginning.
So if you ever feel invisible, if your efforts seem unnoticed, or if the world tries to define you by its own standards, remember this, You are seen, loved. And you are honored by God Himself.
Walk today with your head held high, knowing that your dignity has been restored and your value is unshakable. The God who restores is alive, and His restoration is for you. And I pray that you will feel it, live it, and share it with the world. Because when women walk in the dignity God has given them, they change everything around them.
Thank you, sisters, for being brave, strong, and faithful. You are truly a crown in God’s eyes. You were made for greatness, and your life reflects the glory of the Master Artist who formed you.
