Word for Today

Today I don’t want us to casually say “the God who sees me.” Because Sometimes we say it so easily that we forget how deep and personal those words really are. So today, I want to share a moment that stayed with me.

Last Sunday, I was at church waiting for someone. While I was waiting, I stood near a glass window that looked out from the room I was in. where the choir’s praise could still be heard. Through the glass, I noticed a man dancing so joyfully to the praise the choir was singing. He was really dancing, free, expressive, and completely lost in the moment. The beautiful thing was that he didn’t seem to care whether anyone was watching him or not. And I just stood there smiling because he was really doing well. It was sincere, joyful, and it was pure.

But while I was watching him, something dropped into my spirit. I realized that he probably had no idea someone was standing there observing him through the glass. He didn’t know someone was seeing his joy, his freedom, his sincerity in that moment.

And immediately this thought came to my heart, if I could be watching him without him knowing, how much more does God see us?

We have a Father who sees everything, not just our actions, but our hearts. I could see the man dancing, but I couldn’t see what was in his heart. I couldn’t know his prayers, his struggles, or the gratitude he might have been expressing through that dance. But God sees all of that. God sees the heart behind the moment.

And that reminded me of something very important for us. Many times in life we feel unseen. We feel unnoticed. We feel like the effort we make, the kindness we show, the way we try to live right, or the way we serve others goes unrecognized. Sometimes it can even feel like nobody is paying attention.

But ladies, we must remember this truth, we have a Father who sees us. He sees your heart when you come before Him in prayer. He sees your sincerity when you worship Him. He sees your kindness toward people. He sees the quiet sacrifices you make that nobody applauds.

People may not always notice. People may misunderstand. Sometimes people may even overlook you completely. But God never does. He sees the intentions behind your service, the love in your heart toward others, the desires you carry within you, and the prayers you whisper when nobody else hears.

And that is why we should live with a beautiful awareness, that our Heavenly Father is watching over our lives with loving eyes. Not watching to condemn us, but watching because He cares deeply about us.

When you understand this, when you understand that God sees you, it changes how you live. You begin to serve sincerely, not for attention. You begin to love people genuinely, not for recognition. And you also begin to worship freely, even when nobody else notices. Because your heart knows this humble truth with a powerful message, “My Father sees me”,

Man may not always see you. Man may not always recognize you. Man may not always understand your heart. But please listen, God always sees you. And the beautiful thing is this, the One who sees you also knows you, loves you, and cares deeply about every detail of your life.

So today, beloved, let us live consciously with this awareness, that our Heavenly Father sees us.

Prayer

Most gracious Lord, thank You for always watching over me and noticing every detail of my life. Thank You for knowing me so deeply. I pray that You continue to guide me and help me serve You with all my heart.

Amen
