Word for Today
Alright, Sisters, let’s speak boldly today. But this time about your calling. Your spiritual life and calling are not optional. They are not a hobby. They are not a “nice-to-have” for Sundays. They are your divinely appointed sphere of authority, and you have everything you need to walk in it.
Some women believe the lie that their spirituality is secondary, that their calling can wait, or that because they are women, they are somehow less able to influence God’s Kingdom. Stop right there. That is a deception of the enemy.
Jesus said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me” (Matthew 28:18). And when you are in Him, you participate in that authority. Your gender does not limit your spiritual influence. Your strength does not come from people’s approval, it comes from the Holy Spirit living within you.
Recognizing that you are chosen, royal, and holy (1 Peter 2:9) and that your prayers, worship, and obedience carry real spiritual weight. Exercising your authority by praying boldly, interceding, and declaring God’s will in every area of life. Moving in faith to pursue the specific calling God has placed on your life, without fear of opposition, comparison, or self-doubt. Understanding that your spiritual authority is active, it shapes your home, your community, and your sphere of influence. That right there is, Walking in authority over your spiritual life and calling.
Do you feel intimidated by your calling? That is not weakness. Sometimes when God gives you an assignment, it doesn’t feel light, it feels heavy. You may even think, “Wow… me?” I’ve felt that too.
Many people walking confidently in their calling today once felt intimidated by it. The truth is, God rarely calls us to something that we can do completely on our own. The weight reminds us that we must rely on Him.
Yes, doubt can come, especially when you feel overlooked or when you’re a woman wondering if you’re truly capable. But remember, the calling didn’t come from you, it came from God, and He walks with you in it. So don’t ignore your gift or your calling because it feels bigger than you. It’s supposed to.
If you ever feel intimidated by what God has placed on your life, that’s not weakness. It’s a signal to stand even firmer in God’s authority.
If you’re sensing the call of God on your life or you’re trying to walk in obedience, please don’t give up. There is so much God is doing, and will still do, through you.
Do you feel unqualified? God’s Spirit makes you capable, powerful, and equipped. Or do you fear opposition, criticism, or delay? Declare that all authority belongs to Christ, and you are seated with Him in dominion. Different voices and noise will come, but stand firm in the God who gave you the assignment. Even if it doesn’t look like it right now, trust Him.
Your spiritual life is your front-line. How you steward it determines the effectiveness of your authority in every other area of your life. March boldly, knowing your prayers, your obedience, and your pursuit of God’s call are not small, they are kingdom-shaping.
Prayer
Father, I take authority over my spiritual life and calling. I refuse to believe the lies that I am weak, limited, or secondary because I am a woman. I declare that I am chosen, royal, and holy, empowered by Your Spirit to pray, worship, and act with authority. Let Your exceeding greatness work through me, shifting atmospheres, breaking strongholds, and advancing Your Kingdom. I walk boldly in my divine calling, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
